Welcome to Takapuna Bowling Club, a vibrant and progressive club in the heart of Takapuna. Whether you're looking for competitive sport, a fun social activity, a new challenge, or simply a great way to spend time with friends, there's a place for you at Takapuna.
With around 170 members, we offer a welcoming environment for men and women of all ages and abilities. You don't need to be an experienced bowler — our coaching and introductory programmes will help you get started, meet people and enjoy the game from day one.

If you're looking to compete at club, centre, national or international level, you'll find a strong and supportive competitive environment. Our members include current Black Jacks Selina Goddard and Leeane Poulson, who continue to achieve outstanding results on the world stage while contributing to the life of our club.
😊 Social & recreational bowls
Prefer to take things at a more relaxed pace? Enjoy a game with friends, meet new people and become part of a friendly club community. Whether you play regularly or just occasionally, you're always welcome.
🌟 Twilight bowls
Our popular Krak A Jack Twilight Bowls League brings together teams for 12 weeks of fun, friendship and bowls on Wednesday evenings from November to March. It's a great way to try bowls without making a long-term commitment.

Looking for something different for your team? We host corporate functions, team-building events and casual bowling experiences throughout the year.

Our club is conveniently located in the heart of the Takapuna CBD, with two bowling greens — one natural and one artificial carpet green — providing opportunities to play throughout the year. We also have convenient off-street parking and welcoming club facilities.
